    No brakes

KC, thank you for the reply. I went out to the garage this morning and pumped the brakes, heard the pump, looked at fluid levels, and did this until the levels were corrected, the idiot light went off, and the pedal feel came back. I don't know what the problem was yesterday. Thanks again.

    No brakes

Hi. I haven't posted in a while, but I still have my Buick. Have Powermaster brakes. Today I changed some of the brake fluid out in the reservoir with the turkey baster. Pumped the brakes 10 times with the car off, then turned the ignition on to listen for the brake filling sound. Done this...

    OK, thank you.

    Where on TB?

Are we allowed to make a post if we want to sell our Turbo Buicks? And if so, where on TB is it appropriate to put the post?

    (Problee dumb) Transmission question(s)

I put a new Cold Case radiator in my 86 T-Type, and the engine starts fine, but when I put the tranny in drive it stalls. Is it possible I have the tranny cooler lines going into the radiator reversed? Does it even matter which one is top or bottom? I have had this car for over six years...

    18 psi too much

I got this car at 17,000 miles and it now has 32,000 miles on it and I still don't fully understand it. I think I should sell it and get something with a V8 and a quadrajet on top of it.

    18 psi too much

If I lower fuel pressure might it bring boist down a little? What if I take the power plate off? Also, if i buy the little plastic wye I can make the rest of the wye hose out of vacuum hose, right. I'm going to order the wastegate actuator from Christina right now. I appreciate the comments.

Ok. But is this the stock turbo in the photos?

    18 psi too much

OK, as promised I am reviving this zombie thread. Took the turbo shield off and this is what I have. Is that Garrett turbo stock? This is the wastegate actuator I have. Which one should I replace it with? The one Kirban is selling? Not the heavy duty one but the standard duty one?

    18 psi too much

True, that's one of the things I learned about my car at RCG. I thought it was stock, but they showed me that it's not as stock as I thought. I had a full weekend and didn't have time to pull that turbo shield yet. Next weekend I will and then we can revive this zombie thread and maybe even...

    18 psi too much

They did nice work but they said, "Your boost is 18 psi and we can't get it any lower. You need to find a different wastegate and get your chip reburned. Here's your car back." That's all there is to the story.

    18 psi too much

I do have an rjc power plate. If I take it off might boost come down? Maybe next weekend I can take the turbo shield off and see what model actuator and report back. Thanks everyone for the help.

    18 psi too much

Thanks everyone. Renowned shop owner RC and Xavier and Sydwinder told me it was 18 on their $2500 boost gauge. I know the stock gauge is for laughs. Shop also told me to have TT reburn my chip, which he was nice enough to do. Shop adjusted puck all the way and 18 was low as it would go...

    18 psi too much

Had my car at the renowned garage in central North Carolina, and they did everything they could to turn my boost down but couldn't get it below 18 psi. The adustable puck under the turbo is turned all the way to the end. And TT reburned my chip to lower the boost, too. But I am still getting...
