Anyone know of a shop who works on these 3.8s in either dallas are or college station/houston? I have an 84 engine and harness and want to pump it up before sticking it in my jeep. Maybe stroke it, maybe hotter turbo for passing. I dont mind driving for a good shop or person to help. TIA Rowdy...

i dont know about the cheepest. i can buy 3.8 block for next to nothing and put these non-used pistons and stuff in it. i pay 10 bux a jug for boring and new gaskets..plus a good wiring kit for the fuel injection setup. i think it just needs the down under pipe and i can have a turbo jeep...

I bet if u checked the older chevy books you will find that the chevy's came with a stage 3 'Coon under the hood (and if yer from lousianna, a coon-azz behind the wheel) lololol figured i would throw that in with all the possum jokes! but wait, there's more..if u continue to read below...
