Wow. Didn't expect any fit probs in the trunk. Never even thought about sticking it back in the wheel well. I was just thinking about fitting on the car itself as most sources say, "will not fit this application." Thanks.

Has anyone put a full sized spare in their Grand National trunk? I have a tire that the dealer gave me because it was scuffed. The trouble is finding a stock sized wheel to fit it. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive. It just needs to fit.

I have those same marks on my original paint. I was too cheap to get the car repainted decades ago and I still am. It always seemed like every other one I'd seen had been repainted.

First GN I ever drove was a t top. Although they were heavily shaded the sun blasted down on me through them. Not good since I was balding. Everyone I ever knew who had them or a sunroof any length of time eventually got leaks. Never understood why anyone would cut a hole in the roof of a car.

The first Grand National I rode in/drove was an 86 with those seats. Convinced me to save up for and buy an 87.

I haven't done nearly as much to my car as a lot of people, but I don't regret installing front strut rods, missing body bushings, and greaseable lower lower control arms. Super basic stuff, I know.

Sure sounds like the alternator. My uppipe blew off after I passed a car dragging an anchor along behind. It crawled by me a couple of minutes later. Embarassing.

I'm torn. I'd like to drive Nightshade, my 87 GN, more especially since I just spent so much on A/C and tires, but I'm about 600 miles short of hitting the 100,000 mile mark and don't relish it. Other drivers don't help either like the guy who about took out my front fender last night. There...
