What is needed to put a 153 (on center) engine into a TR?

Is Duttweiller or TA still making those? I sent a 4 stage oil pump up to Weaver and they asked me a few questions, converted it to a 3 stage and it works perfectly. That was in 03.

    Fastest Turbobuick?

I think that the car that Richard has may be Bob Stanley's old car. It's light, very light. I am very interested in seeing Fiscus's car run also. I think that its about 900lbs lighter than the Mustang. I have visions of 4.00 territory or less in the 1/8.

    Wtb simmons wheels

Chuck, you could feed an army for a month for the price of a set! I love my car, I mean I really really love it but I have never seen a wheel that cost that much that I would even consider putting on it. CCW's are an excellent alternative option.

Any info on this crankshaft 2550008

For a BMS crank it really depends on the race series that the engine was designed for. 2.66 ( which I have never held before) all the way up to 3.625. In a stage 2 motor the 2 most common sizes found were 3.59 and 3.625 to put you in the 274cu inch ballpark. The 3.59 motors had the 4.020 bore...

Aluminum Rods, I've Never Seen Them Offered Or Talked About In Here? Curious

I know of 2 motors that have Aluminum rods on 3.55 Weber cranks in 109's. Weber built both motors. One was ran heavily in TSM around 2012/13. One is still in service to this day. Both motors ran in the 5's in the 1/8. SBC journal GRP Rods on larger destroked cranks, 3.07 stroke crank used BBC...
