Hey Jamie, I hope your making through this cold spell. Have you seen that GNX for sale for 35,000 on the GNX page. Apparently some old guy from California is the owner.

Just curious if anybody knows what sensor goes into the block right near where the upper rad hose meets the block. It has one wire coming off the front of it. I'll try a get a good picture of it.

I have a leak that appears to be at the brass fitting where the turbo oil drain meets the block. Anybody have any advice or tips to get at it without removing the turbo?

oops I quess we responded at the same time, now I understand that there is a gasket.

I haven't taken it apart yet I was just anticipating parts that I would need. I have to replace my turbo oil drain and it appears as though the turbo will need to come off so I thought I would make sure I had all parts in advance. So I'm correct in understanding that there is no gasket then.

Does anybody have the part number for the gasket for where the air intake meets the turbo on a 87 GN? If I can't find one what kind of material needs to be used because of the heat from the turbo?

87 Gn I've never listed mine before but I'm a second owner of a 1987 GN with 54,100 km's (33,600 miles). I've changed the exhaust to a PYPES dual exhaust system and its been repainted by the original owner. Real nice gloss to the paint but it has some solvent bubbles. Has GNX style rims on...

No sorry thats all the information I have. If its a relatively easy fix perhaps I should replace both. This car sat for several years before I bought it and I want everything to be perfect.
