The specs you posted were spring pressures at various spring heights. The spring height started out at 1.8" and became less as the valve lift height increases (compressing the spring). The spring pressure goes up as it gets compressed. Knowing the pressure of the spring at the various heights...

They start off lighter, but they ramp up spring pressure faster as it is compressed. By the time you are at .300+/- lift, the LS6 spring will likely have more pressure than the 105's. That continues the more lift there is. In the specs noted, the LS6 springs are already @ 300# at only .570 lift...

    Turbo V6 Camaro

HM is correct, there is no need to port the heads to make good power on a 3800. I believe stock 3800 heads flow similar to a GN 8445 ported head that was still using stk 8445 valves. They will get the job done. If the heads were off for some reason, I would maybe do a performance valve job &...

This sounds like it will be a low boost setup for a while, think 10 psi or less. I will recommend based on that. You will not be able to run high boost levels without good springs, 125# and higher. This would required the double row timing chain upgrade. If doing that, add a small turbo cam. ST1...

    4t65e rebuild

Dave @ TEP is as good as it gets. Turbo 3800's break trans' fast if they are not done correctly. It will out cost almost anything else in your build. The 4T65E-HPS4 package is pretty stout, but I think that still includes the 300m input shaft with the o-ring grove in it. If it does, I would...

    88/68 Turbonetics Turbo / 50lbs 83lbs & 160 lbs injectors

History on 160# injectors? Age, best guess at mileage? Known to be good? Assume EV1 high z like Deka 60's, 80's, etc.

Fuel Pressure - Does not change (w/ or w/o vac line)

Assuming blockage... You can try disconnecting the return line at the engine cradle, and at the tank then try to clear the line using air pressure. Go back and forth from the front to rear, maybe dislodge whats stuck in there.

Fuel Pressure - Does not change (w/ or w/o vac line)

Its been about 10 years, but IIRC I was rich at idle, fuel pressure was stuck in the 45-48 regardless of the regulator adjustment. I did not have it tagged yet to drive it on the road. I cut the fuel line just in front of the passenger side rear wheel well, just before it snakes up behind the...

Fuel Pressure - Does not change (w/ or w/o vac line)

I had this problem with my GN. In my instance the return line was restricted. To test for it, you will have to rig a rubber hose from the return at the rail back to the tank. If it corrects the problem then replace the return line at the very least. It is likely rust in the line. I replaced all...

    6265 journal bearing turbo

My choice if I had that cam and converter already, would be the 6262. It would spool better, and overall a better match. The 6265 would still be a good choice, just not mine.
