1). If ya don't care too much, just take the fastener out of the front of the old brace, bent it out a bit, socket on the nut, put pressure from brace on nut(pull on brace as ya loosen nut). Hopefully bolt doesn't spin.

For a TA49 turbo. 6262 is a different animal & will probably need a updated/restalled converter.

Depends on what injectors you run. Now days there’s more high impedance options.
High impedance injectors NO ECM modding. 80#’s, 95#’s, 125#’s etc.
Low impedance injectors ECM needs to be modded. 120#’s.
