I bought the nicest example I could afford. It's an 87. I wouldn't have thought twice if it had turned out to be an 86.These are the only cars I can think of where the lower production numbers don't equate to more value. I do prefer the black grill.
A lot of GNs were raced when they were new. Mods are very acceptable, but original equipment will pull a bit of a premium. Just like the first gen muscle cars. The big difference with GNs, 5.0s, and other second gen muscle is that many were purchased as second vehicles and subsequently not all...
