Did replacing the cam sensor fix your surging issue?

Actually, I don't have one at all. I did a transplant into another car and while I was connecting the harness to each sensor I realized I didn't have the ESC module. Was hoping it was in a box but it wasn't. What are people using to combat this? Any help would be appreciated.

Rereading this old thread made me wonder...has anyone found a good replacement for the ESC module (BLO) or (HKP)? Without having to upgrade the ignition system, just looking for an ESC module.

I just saw this, mine severed in the mid 90's and could not find a replacement. Just verified they are still available and ordered a new one. Excited to get gear selector / shift indicator light working again.

Did you ever find any other additional info on the ashtray switches? I have the same panel in my GN and it has been giving me trouble. I can't find the installation manual anywhere. I am not sure is mtocrs1 has more than what he posted, but if so I would love to see that literature.
