I think, after all my years of admiring/and now owning an evil turbo buick, the GNX style wheels are still the best look.

It will sound about 400% better due to the stereo image and sound-stage being there due to path-length differences being negated.

I agree with you, ported boxes always sounded more musical too me.. but servo controlled sealed boxes handeled the transients best. Thta's why - if I ever change - I'm going MAPD; so far it seems to be the best of both worlds.
Couple of quick points here based on your rant...
You can NOT get a stereo image from the dash because of the path length differences.
I agree the SAS tube is good for bass, but you cant get decent bass from the 8" on the shelf, you need a 10" firing rearward in the spare tire well.

This car has been in the pro-audio compeition ranks for decades, it's hard to beat the sound-stage and imaging quality you can get from the kick panels (or underdash w/waveguides) so really the only thing you need are mid-bass drivers and the rear quarter panels are a much better place to put...
I'm sure it would be totally awesome, but man that seems like LOT of work in contrast to just rebuilding the V8 and boost it w/an STS remote mount turbo kit.
