GTA Wheels on a 87 stock GN

You can run that set no problem but it’ll depend on how your body sits on the frame as to what sort of spacer you will need and how big a tire you run. You will have to run the “rear” wheels on the front and the “front” wheels on the rear. The lips look better this way too. The “rears” on the...

New Member with 1984 Wheel Question

Those were on ‘84-‘85 T Types. I have 9 of em lol (two full sets and one extra). I think they are cool but not a lot of other people do. There is little to no market for them. I think all 9 wheels cost me less than $200 total haha. But those look to be in great shape which is pretty rare. Most...

    Premium Memberships Coming, Need Opinions!

I voted and am waiting for this to kick in as well. Another bmx forum I’m on has a similar set up in place where it’s free to join but you don’t get full access to everything unless you are a paid member. Works well and most everybody pays in. They are also discussing doing something for the...

Spoolfool's new Drip-Lip, oil leak catch thingy.

Awesome idea Mike! It’s shocking this wasn’t done years ago. I’m pretty sure every single Turbo Buick left on the road could use one of these. I know I’ve got some nasty cardboard sitting under my car that tells me I do! Let us know when they are available and the cost! Thanks again for...

    Anyone running 255-50-16 all around?

I’ve got 255/50s all around on a full set of GTA wheels (fronts on the back and backs on the front). They are totally fine but do hit my sway bar at full lock. Other than that they are good to go.

Recommendation on company to transport car from PA to FL

Check out Pilot too if they are still around. They were on Power Tour in 2013 and were all cool guys. I used them shortly after to ship my Caddy from CT to TX. Think it was around $1200 at the time for a real nice enclosed setup. When I shipped my GN from CT to TX a few years earlier it was...

I have the TA Performance 3” and it fits great. I have pretty much the same parts you mentioned and I felt it was a great upgrade.

    Line Lock help

I have kit with the carbon fiber bracket from Scot at GNS as well. Went right in no problem and has worked great for years. I did a write up on the install with a bunch of pictures. I could dig it up on this site if you’d like.

    Autox Howdy

I ran my car with an essentially stock set up. Stock turbo and pipes. The biggest thing to plan around (if you care) is what group (SCCA, Good Guys, etc..) you want to run with and what classes you are aiming for. Pretty sure in SCCA E85 bumps you up Street Modified or at least a Prepared class...

Red T Type Spotted In White Deer, TX

I was cruising from Amarillo to Pampa Thursday around 12:30 or so (lunchtime) and saw a cool looking red T Type parked at a little road side restaurant (I think) in White Deer along 60. Looked pretty clean, had red GNX Fender vents and GNX/GTA wheels. Pretty sure it was debadged. Just...

    No crank/no start

Absolutely! Had the car out four times this week just cruising around. Feels good to get it out again, even though it's super hot here in Texas haha.
