I started working on my 87GN last spring again. Car runs strong but wanted upgrades. You know the drill. One thing I wanted was the AC blowing cold air again(after not working for 15 years). I gave the job to my normal mech. He replaced the Compressor and charged the system. All was fine...

Has anyone installed a double din radio in an 87 GN? I mean without cutting up the dash too much. I'm looking at the Alpine INA-W900 but not sure if it will fit. I think the stock radio is a 1.5 din space. Any help would be great. Thanks, Brian

If you said this to me a month ago, I would have taken them. I have my new Centerline rims at the shop and tires on the way.

rim size I had CenterLine Wheels & Bear brakes work together with the cutsheets on both the brakes & rims and found that the brakes would touch the rims. Only just touch, but touch non the less. This is after I checked the cutsheets myself, but wanted the pro's to give me a final check.

Tires for 16" rims I should have looked into the rim size first. I bought 16x8 fronts & 16x9.5 rears. The reason I went with 16" was to fit the new brakes. I don't like the bigger rim look so I went up 1 size to fit the brakes. Centerline said go with the 9.5 for the rear for that 'fat tire...

Talked to Jack Cotton today and told him to notch the frame. He said he would take care of it and no spacers would be needed after the notch work. Should have my car back in a week or so. Brian
