    Wideband 02 Issues?

Should I still be concerned with the fact that the UEGOS(V) is not stabilizing to ~.45? If Carbon fouling is the culprit (from how black the O2 is, this seems highly likely), is there a way to "clean" it besides running the engine leaner? Perhaps a "sensor-safe" cleaning solution? Perhaps the...

    Wideband 02 Issues?

The readings have always been flaky with the O2 sensor. I have never been able to get a consistant a/f ratio at idle. I do see correction through the power band, but i'm not sure how reliable it is. There is a little history though that should be mentioned: I had some problems with my...

    Wideband 02 Issues?

After reading previous posts...it is my understanding that UEGOS(V) should stabilize to ~0.45V after 30-40seconds of idle time. With my engine running, after several minutes of idle time, the my wideband readings are this: UEGOR(V)~2.37 UEGOS(V)~0.61 (sometimes lower sometims as high as...

FAST Crank Reference Angle on Dodge Dakota

Thanks for the reply Craig. Is 30 degrees far off from the Factory Service Manual recommended location? Forgive me for my ignorance, but I take it phasing the rotor would move the distributor left or right so many degrees in relation to the block? Is this something that I should screw with...

FAST Crank Reference Angle on Dodge Dakota

Craig - I was wondering the correct method for checking the crank reference angle on a 98 Dodge Dakota (if it can be adjusted). I notice in the demo dakota file that ships with the C-Comm Winows it is "7". On the Dakota, we don't have a traditional mechnical distributor but we do have a...

    FAST O2 Not Correcting?

Craig, I have all 3 after start graphs identical to the Demo.cts that ships with the software. Still no O2 correction. The only correction I see is 0.8% for Batt Corr. Could this have any effect? Thanks

    FAST O2 Not Correcting?

Craig, I think that might do it. I have never looked at that sensor since I don't have it on the main dashboard. The only culprit I see is the After Start vs. Coolant Temperature which is set a .4% enrichment from 173 deg. on. Unfortunatelly it is raining here...I will try that as soon as the...

    FAST O2 Not Correcting?

Craig, the wideband appears to measure the a/f correctly. The numbers look corect. I have correct limit at 25% for adding fuel and 10% for cutting fuel. Thanks for the help!

    FAST O2 Not Correcting?

Hey Bob, I am past the delay time and over the temperature in which the wideband will kick in. It is showing 0% O2 correction on the dahsboard and log. I'm not sure... Thanks,

    FAST O2 Not Correcting?

I have a SpeedPro with wideband and I am not getting any O2 correction. My actual a/f is much leaner than my target a/f. It is set to 25% correction accross the board, the wideband is recognized by the ECU. I have Closed loop enabled checked, max rpm at 1500 and low rpm at 1200. The...

    Map Harness

I need a 2-Bar Map Harness (Grand National Type, GM) but I am having trouble finding a local dealer with one in stock. I was hoping to get one before the weekend. Anyone know of a national chain that sells them? Advance Auto, NAPA, and Car Quest all said dealer item. Maybe they stock them...
