I was able to route 3" tube between the fender and inner structure and mounted the air filter behind the bumber cover below the headlight. Had to relocate a vacuum can up to the top side. Made a huge difference. Inlet air temps are always near ambient now.

A ford starter solenoid will fix the hot start problem also for about 12 bucks. You lose alot of voltage thru the ignition switch. You just need to wire the ford part up to get battery voltage to the gm solenoid.

Think you got that backwards... 130lbs @ 1.800 & 146lbs @ 1.750. Set the installed height to provide the desired spring pressure at zero lift. Then check at full lift to verify you dont have coil bind or too much spring pressure. Based on the spring specs 1.750" would be a good target but...

Put it in and see how it feels. If you dont like it you might call a vendor that sells the 9-11's. You should be able to get the stall speed changed for a reasonable fee.
