When needing new tires I'd suggest you switch to Mickey Thompson Drag Radials...

Sorry for the typo....the rims are 15" diameter the tires are 26" diameter.

As much as I appreciate your input I don't think 14 ft lbs is correct. I see that is what the chart says but I think the chart is in error. This is only a 1/4" Pipe thread, and it is probably coated with VibraSeal 516 which makes it very slippery...I think 14 ft lbs will bottom it out 14...
