Ok, I'm trying to troubleshoot my no start issue. I followed a flow chart which pointed me at the ccci module which i replaced. No luck. Went through the troubleshoot again and the cam and crank sensor voltages aren't really varying. They are giving me 5-6 volts pretty steady. Is that normal...

Besides just physically breaking what about a cam sensor actually fails?

You must be talking about the sherries car show. I was going to bring my 84 GN to the next one too but.......troubleshooting a no start issue. maybe next one

So my all stock 84 GN has been sitting in the garage over the winter. I just took her out for the first cruise of the season. I get back and park her in the garage. Later that day I go to move her and.....no start. So I found a thread on this site, exactly which one escapes me at the moment but...

oh, sorry for posting that here. I do have an 84 also. must have gotten confused. The carb was a remanufactured unit from schucks auto supply.

Thanks for the link. That was indeed helpful. The reason I thought my carb wasn't a turbo carb was that when it makes boost it pushes out the main metering rods so when I come off full throttle she runs uber rich. I guess I just need to figure out which vacuum line goes to the metering rods.

Since were talkin carbs here. I was wondering if anyone knew casting numbers off the turbo carbs. I'm pretty sure the one on my car isn't. The only numbers I found on it were on the drivers side of the carb as follows: 17080243 2649 CNO Since i'm pretty sure this isn't a turbo carb. Does...
