    Need help!!!!!!

I'm glad you updated this my car is doing the same thing. It was sitting for almost 3yrs. I took it out after an oil change and some fuel and it alarmingly built a ton of boost at half throttle and nosedived/turbo fluttered at second shift. I'm hoping it's just a fuel pump.

Looking for help, not to belittling...

Stuff like this bugs me would you fix it already so we know <joke. Small parts I'm tellin' ya, start throwin' em. Some of those symptoms of raw fuel, poor mileage and no power are the wastegate system...according to my research.

Looking for help, not to belittling...

Hmm when my header cracked my engine light came on I also replaced the O2 sensor at the same time. I dunno I'd put a lot of the little geegaws on like coil pack, MAF. It's loading up, you mean stumbling? or revving higher like at idle?.

Would it be worth it to restore this '86?

Who ever ends up with it quit f**king parting out these cars. I'm also not seeing the value of these cars climbing for the last couple years, at least here. I'm currently looking at an ad on a car I really want but need like another hole in head - bone stock 50k mile 86 T for 16k (Canadian...

    Vacuum Brake Conversion

Not to stink up your thread as I find (good) vendors for these car to be important and hopefully will give you biz in the future but is this kit by chance the same one as Kirban used to sell? I (perhaps mistakenly in hindsight we'll see) bought his kit several years ago as it was marketed in a...

    MAF Translator plug

No, Dennis the menace. On one hand I think let it go on the other I start thinking about how many times I get ripped off, it starts to feel at times like a 50% ratio and I'm tired of it. Then again I have a backup MAF -that's good!...but also have a Translator I've never used but will some day...

    Need some rust advice

I've used this stuff for years, also use it after blasting just as a extra prep before painting. It burns if it gets on you too. I've put in in a spray bottle with a little rubbing alcohol to thin it to spray into hard to reach areas.

Think I need an oil cooler ring

I'd take you up on that but I'm up in Canada -hence the above 16.80 shipping...and I've heard standing in a post office line for 30 min. Thanks for the other replies guy's. Hopefully somebody else will be able to use the info. On the other hand took my car out today 30 miles, ran like a...

Think I need an oil cooler ring

Thanks Scott, I saw those on Ebay but shipping is $16 something. If I can't do the NAPA thing I probably will go that route.

Think I need an oil cooler ring

Looks like oil seeping around that area, my question is -I was in NAPA the other day and they had a large display rack with tons of different size rubber rings, I'm assuming I can go match up the correct size? Also how imperative would it be to buy one of those new oil cooler line assembly...
