Update: Problem fixed!! salvage6 nailed it. Turned out it was the ignition switch. It got cooked during the short. Thanks to all for giving me guidance and helping me out. I gained lots more gray hair on this one. Ended up taking it to a local GN shop that just opened right in my own town. Owner...

salvageV6 eluded to this in his last post so I am curious.

Question for everyone. Is it possible the alarm system could cause the missing power to the fuse box? It has been mentioned a few times as a possible suspect... plus I have read plenty of stories about alarms being the source of many no starts. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

Thanks for the tip. That would totally suck to be probing/testing then touch something metal and smoke more wires. By the way, are those under dash photos from your actual car? The stuff looks practically brand new! Along with the factory wires, mine has what appears to be speaker wires...

Yes I changed the chip over to the KB 9006. Does the chip send power to all the dead fuses I’m having issues with? Or are you saying the chip is just one of several possible problems? By the way, I was unable to swap out the smaller chip next to the computer chip. I believe it’s called Cal pak...

Oh, forgot to mention I swapped out the ECM with a knowned good one as well. No change.

Update. Swapped scanmaster over to IGN 3 slot, turned on the key and it says “scanmaster 1.0” for one second, then says “NO DATA” for 10 seconds, and then the screen goes blank. Swapped out the chip to an old KB 9006 I had and nothing changed.

Yes the horn does work. Does have a scanmaster, no power. However, scanmaster is currently connected to IGN 1 slot, which has no power. I have power to IGN 3 slot so I could just switch over there, plug it in and power it up. What am I looking for once it’s powered up?

... And here I was worried that it might be the flux capacitor and having to figure out how to generate 1.21 giga watts. So at this time it sounds like it’s safe to rule out the fusible links? Haven’t dropped the starter yet, just wondering my next move. It’s starting to sound like I’ll have to...

Hope so. Fusible Links look perfectly fine... visibly anyways. They are a real bitch to get a close-up view. What genius decided to put them down there? I’m going to go drop the starter, pull them out and have a good look. I will be a happy camper if this is the only problem!

Update. Checked and confirmed all speeds work on blower fan. Then checked fuse clips with key ON/RUN as suggested. Hope this helps. No power to GAUGES, ECM-IGN, all three IGN 1 slots, TURN B/U, ST BLT, ECM-SOL, FP/INJ, LPS, CCCI, CRUISE & INST LPS. Now, the CIG CLK, RADIO, PWR ACCY, STOP-HAZ...

Sorry, I had a typo in that last post. IGN slot 1, upper left corner, does not have power. IGN 2 does have power. The orange ECM wire by the battery has power. I'll check the pink/black with key on and follow up. Thank you all for your assistance!

The negative battery cable was checked and I found no issues. Checked ECM & CCCI fuses with a test light and confirmed they have no power to them in the fuse box. There is no set pattern to missing power at the fuse box. Meaning it's not isolated to just the upper half, lower half, left or right...
