Hey guys, new to the forum. Thanks for having me.

Having an issue with car, battery died, jumped, now its running rough. No acceleration, feels like its missing, pedal to the floor it will start to boost then stop. Battery tested bad, replaced, now car is stalling as soon as you give it gas. Rough idle still.

Car was running fine the night before, had it out, changed the oil, and put back in garage. Battery died because I did not close door hard enough and dome light stayed on all night.

Anyone else ever have this issue?

Thanks!

Cpu has to re-learn , disconnect the batt again re-hook and drive it around few miles without boosting

If it's a stock ECU with a programable chip , you lost any settings that were programmed in when the battery was disconnected and it went back to default settings .

any codes ?
no codes, no dummy lights....talked to a couple techs here at my shop, going to try disconnecting the battery, let it sit, hook back up, then see if it will idle for 10 mins, maybe drive the car around the parking lot for a little to see if anything changes.

Change O2 sensor -erratic cpu readings could be dumping fuel check for fouled out plugs...BLM's?

Load test the battery. May have enough to start the car but not put out enough volts for it to run. It's possible the "new" battery was not fully charged...

Disconnect the orange wire behind the battery, open the ECM, pull the chip, wait 30 seconds and then put it back in. Weird stuff happens with voltage. Also do you have any scantools hooked to the ECM? I would disconnect those also if so.
