I’m looking for those threads talking bout fuel pumps upgrades hot wire kits and how what is needed to get it done ride I can’t seem to find them anymore maybe someone can lead me in the right direction thanks

Depends on your build. If it’s pretty close to stock I’m sure a 255lph will work.

Get the Hotwire set-up from Caspers.

My car is currently pretty much close to stock but will be building up and want a pump that can work well into high 10s (wishful thinking ) just want to do this once so I get that out of the way I remember reading about that walbro 340 loh or something like in that range, just looking need to know if all this can be done with stock hanger or if everything needs to be upgraded with the goal I have in plan

Fair enough. You can go larger for sure. I believe a 340 will fit in the stock hangar.

The issue you may run into is the return line may be too small to get your idle PSI where it needs to be. So that line may need to be changed/modded. Some guys swap the return & vent line. Not sure how well that works though.

I’d do some searching on here about that. Goes back a long way since they got the site back up.

Yea I hear ya I remember there being a thread talking about step by step on what needed to be done just like u mentioned about the lines being swapped out that’s the info I’m looking for , it sucks since this site crash hard to find that good shit now ! ….. but not giving up I’m sure those that have done this or currently running the set up will chime in ….. knowing the ins and outs of the upgrade is priceless

Type in fuel pump upgrade into the search box & check the search titles only box to help.

Another way to do a search on turbobuick.com is to go to your web browser and type in what you want.... say fuel pump upgrades followed by buick grand national and it will list threads associated with the topic on turbobuick.com
Example: fuel pump upgrades buick grand national

Yea that’s what I ended up doing and brought some old threads up went through my email and looked up old threads I was a apart of since 2007 but no longer come up when I click on the thread links

I purchased the Racetronix G7 ss w/255 lph Fuel Pump - Sending Unit & Hotwire Kit this winter. Getting ready to install it here in the next week or so. But, then again I have no asperations of going big in the future. Only wanting to replace some 37 year old parts. OK maybe some 42 lb injectors later  ;)

Found out something I never knew. Go to your Accounts and click on Your Content. This will bring up all the old post that you responded to. Might be another way to search for threads you were a part of.
