Yeah the 3” stainless with internal gate & a test pipe . Great bunch of guys here , honestly it’s nice to a part of this .
Hopefully I can pay this forward and help out someone here .

I have a 3 inch mild steel terry Houston ceramic coated with a bung for wbo2 if you guys are in a jam.
Just wanted to let you know I was able to get the last D pipe from Arizona gn. And to say thank you once again for you’re thoughtful offer !

Great choice! Goodluck, I'm glad it worked out time to get that thing ready!

Now... What are your plans for the OEM turbo cover?

Either the end must be cut, or the cover replaced with something else. Might try to locate a spare cover that has already been cut.

I might just have one already cut, I took mine off when I went to a much bigger turbo. Its not polished but it might be cut, my old downpipe was a 3" Terry Houston. I'll check this weekend. If you don't want to run the shield cover, you can always upgrade to a turbo blanket!

Karl, if I do have the shield already cut, just cover the shipping and I'll send it your way. Its just been sitting my garage.

Ah yes , I didn’t think that far ahead . Hmm
Gotta think about that one. Thanks for the heads up

You know , I was thinking about a blanket .. I’ve read mixed reviews here about it though .
It’s a precision .83 housing , is that what they call a t4?
I’ve got one on my old dodge diesel & is great .
Where abouts are located ? Just curious on shipping

I like blankets, I need to get one as well for my t66

Hey scooby , thanks . Hope you well , it’s been a while since we talked .
I noticed that you don’t have the bracket on the turbo , correct if Im wrong but doesn’t that support the turbo ? Or are you using something else ?

I used the T3/T4 blanket from PTP with the stainless steel springs. Blanket model number should be in picture.

FYI still using my sock “J” bracket & a 3” RJC downpipe.

Never used it and had zero issues without it.

Oh ok , I guess it’s just a preference then .
I was only thinking that without it , the turbo is only supported by the downpipe.
And wasn’t sure if it caused any unnecessary stress without it .

Awesome thank you
My bad! That’s for my TA60. Not sure what turbo you have, so disregard if your turbo is different.

They tell you how to decide the size of blanket on their site if you choose to go the blanket route.

Don't do what I do. The factory designed it for a reason.

No worries , Currently it’s a ta49 .
I’ll have a look on their site and see what they have to offer .
