I'm sure many of us on this forum remember the gas crunch of the 70's and how stealing gas became such a problem that locking gas caps became a common thing to add to your car. Moving through the 80's and 90's, anti-siphon gas tanks became a thing and nobody needed locking caps anymore. Now with today's soaring prices, the theft is bound to soar too. The problem is that with today's cars being harder to siphon from the thieves have to up their game. Their new power play in Atlanta?

Drilling for gas.

Would be great if their cordless drill caught some gas vapor a grilled them.
IIrc, if the hole or leak isn't too big that soap will make an emergency plug.

I just towed through Atlanta.

Holy shit. What a mess. Total idiots. Where in the Georgia Drivers manual does it state, "If you see another vehicle activate their turn signal, immediately accelerate to fill the space they were intending to change lanes into"?

On the bright side, I did find the limit. They will get out of the way of you keep moving over. But that's not good practice. They might use another lane for an escape and cause a chain reaction crash. Or shoot you.

Oh, and all the "speed monitored by detection devices" signs? What moron approved that expenditure? Captain Obvious? Of course speed is monitored by a detection device. That's the only way! Does Georgia think other states ascertain speed by magic or divination? Why would you all spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to litter the state with signs stating something so stupendously obvious?

Gas thieves in Georgia are doing God's work by keeping you all off the road.

:p

They spent thousands on signs because a certain segment of the population here are incredibly stupid the second they get in a car..
Traffic laws such as turn signals and slower traffic keep right don't apply to them... it's there God giving right to be in the fast lane doing whatever speed they want... until they whip over 6 lanes 100 yrds before their exit...
And yes you can fuck around and get in a shoot-out real quick...

Exactly why I don't " do Atlanta"....
My hearing is bad enough and with my aids in, touching off my .40 cal in my Suburban would be devastating!
I guess the folks in/around Atlanta have had enough of the Ky hillbillies driving thru Atlanta like idiots. It's payback time! Kind of a replay of the Hatfields and McCoys! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah..... Apparently all these fuck'n pukes were told that they didn't need to learn to Drive. Where's Richard Petty when we need him ? Go ahead & trade paint with 'em.......they'll most likely go airborne if your good :ROFLMAO:
