The flu season is lets say 6 months long so 400k in 3 months and they have no where near that many in the hospital for it now. I think some see this as a big money maker for them. Never underestimate the greed of the human creature.

They do say that fresh potable water will be the biggest and most valuable resource in the not to distant future. The Ogallala Aquifer is getting pretty low and they're worried that all these earthquakes could drain it and there goes the wheat basket of the world. Plus a lot of these GMO seeds don't have the resistance to a number of things let alone the health issues.

Prior to knowledge of CV-19, Aquifer levels were one of my main concerns. I relocated & bought a house about 3 years ago. Mostly conservative rural community. I wanted to move here in the 90's, but it didn't work out. It is now being over run by people & the water table is dropping. Unfortunately many of the newcomers are from leftist areas, so that is also ruining the area. I'm shocked at the amount of tract homes that have been built since I have arrived. Don't know if there will be enough water to last everyone for 20-30 years.
