What other upgrades to do with Alky kit

At 88,000 miles your transmission is pretty much at the end of its life cycle.
i tell guys alot of guys not to touch there cars unless they are ready to do the trans,i can put an alky kit on a chip and tune 200lb/ft of torque into the the car in 1 afternoon and there goes the stocker;)thats the power of alky and a chip when done right:)

The money I had in my car...was in the transmission...and I was fortunate to have the best 200 transmission builder in Canada behind me. Wait till he finds out the prices of the billet hard parts for his rebuild.

I know all about it ;) husek built my duel fed billet 200.but with his combo a mild rebuilt wont hurt to much

Lower the tank to the point where you can get your arms in and remove the lines...then lower it down. You'll have to roll it forward a bit to clear the filler neck. I put a new pump in my car every spring whether it needed it or not. Cheap insurance against head gaskets.

Your tranny will live beyond 18psi. If your running alky run 22psi or don't waste your time with it. ..

So do you think I can put the Alky and run the 22 psi without worrying about the tranny or should I go 18 the highest without it and update tranny If I decide to use the alky and turn the boost up to 22?
I have to disagree with the tranny living. I used to run 17 psi in 1st and second and 15 in 3rd and 4th and went through 2 stock transmissions with shift kits in 150k miles. I finally got an EA stage 2 transmission with dual feed and it's doing fine with 25 psi for the past 70k miles. The transmission operation was extremely improved from my first 2. (actually the stage 2 is the original transmission but rebuilt by Lonnie Diers.)

So if you went threw 2 Transmissions in 150k miles? Thats a quite a long distance of 75,000 on average no? I drive my car maybe 5,000 miles a year, If that..With those numbers I will be changing a tranny every 15 yeas..Not to bad considering..Not saying thats definitely whats going to happen but If I only drive it the short distance I do every year without beating on it, I would think it has a decent chance of lasting a while at 17-18 lbs of boost no?

Just about to order the timing chain and sprockets from TA performance..I see they have anohter part called a oil slinger..What is it and is it needed?

Cam button you have is prolly wore out. You can grab a OEM or a roller button from them. Go on their recommendation. I used roller buttons.

Boost is only a number, everyone's car makes different hp levels at the same boost, dont get caught up with the boost number, learn what your car likes as far as KR goes...
Also if you dont set the trans TV cable correct your not going to get 5 blocks with out cooking it let alone 5000 miles. no matter who built it

Lonnie is the cats ass, love that dude and his products. Here is my experience that I had when I had a similar combo to the OP's back in the day. I had a silver T-type that I bought for peanuts because it wasn't maintained and was rusty. The car had 300,000 miles on it with the original turbo and complete original unopened drivetrain. The car was rock stock with the factory air box in it. Because I got this car so cheap it became my daily driver that I used to go fishing in and lightly modified like the OP. I painted it white like my other T-type that was a solid mid 10sec car at the time. I would go out and pick on someone I know that I couldn't beat with this car so I can later ask for a rematch with big money with the other car. Point being, this car had a ton of miles on the original parts. I drove the piss out of it. Drove it to the track 2.5 hours numerous times and ran mid to low 12's at 23- 25psi (on C16) and drove it home, then street raced it at night til the sun came up. The only mod to the tranny was making it a non lockup and putting a 9"ART CARR converter in it. Never broke a thing is this car, and drove the pants off of it. In the OP's case being a street car that he says he isn't taking it to the track. In most cases it won't even see full 1/4 mile passes on the street, more like 2nd and a touch of 3rd while cruising with the odd little encounter with another car. IMO you have to base it on how the car currently runs. Does the transmission shift smoothly? does it have a flare between shifts? If it drives well 3 more pounds of boost on his setup is not going to light the world on fire and compromise the drivetrain. I personally would roll the dice. If the tranny takes a shit, fix it... it's not going to be huge money either way. That's just my opinion, to each is own.

So am I getting this right? The oil slinger is the cam button? Forgive me if this is a stupid ? But its the first time I will be doing this on this car. Anything else that is needed aside for the gaskets? Special pullers or tools?
