Why didn't this dick head talk to Lisa? What's so special about taking a big pile of shit and building a bigger pile of shit?

I would think the girl with the V6 kicking ass would be a better story. No?

Whatever

My experience from doing 4 years of drag week has taught me this: Most guys in V8's don't want to hear about a girl in a V6 going faster than them. At the beginning of DW19 they announced the top 10 in my class would get a special invite to a NHRA event. I finished in the top 10, I never got an invite, after calling NHRA and asking why they overlooked my invitation, they ended up inviting me. (I don't think they wanted the V6 there). Going to ZMAX for the NHRA Nationals was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I held 2nd place the entire time (for 2 days) until the last round, then got bumped to 3rd by a hair. I was the underdog for sure since all the other cars were V8's with much bigger turbos and in some cases twin turbos. I held 2nd place from day 1 but little was said about my car. When they posted the results from day 1 on, they showed 1st, 2nd and 3rd. When I was bumped to 3rd they never mentioned 3rd place again. I am very proud of all my accomplishments but I don't ever expect to see others excited about getting beat by a girl in a V6 Buick!

Lisa,
We met once in a hotel parking lot at Cecil 2014. Victor (Empire Muscle Cars) introduced us. I have followed your accomplishments since then. Keep it up. Your one of our few last remaining heroes. Thank you.

Yes! We were all there. Good time that night. Bullshitting until late. Weather was perfect. My daily driver was broke. My Buick was raced that day and then driven to Autozone to buy parts for the daily driver! Ha-ha! Go figure!

Hope I could get out some time soon and make some new memories.

As Turbo Buick owners, we are in a strange place. Most muscle car groups don't care for us because we "only" have a six banger under the hood.
Most import guys don't dig us because our cars are made in The USA.
We may not have their love, but we do have their respect, as most of them are too scared to race us.

I don't know about you guys and gals but I'm cool with that.

Happy spooling.
