I started just bolting stuff on my spare block and I’m thinking I’m going to build a nice NA motor and stick it in my limited .

He who goes stage 2 without turbo will be slower than my 109! Just kidding!! Nice project around 500hp. Drop some weight on that Regal and it will be time for some traction!

If it went in the limited I want it to be a sleeper fun car with the hub caps and all . Bench seat column shift 4-500rwhp should be a fun car to drive around

Mini tub it, use the factory steel wheels with the hub caps but be forwarned about a hubcap zinging past you at 7000+ rpm.

I don't think it would be to stealthy with the headers sticking thru the hood. :p

Lol true . Yea I wasn’t planning on slapping it in there in full race mode I would go single carb and run a full exhaust. But running it on e85 what do you guys think I should shoot for compression wise 12:1?13:1 ?

500 at the wheels is "ify".
We did 2, 274" engines, 1 went in a Cobra kit car, at 2400#.
Both engines were dyno'd...Both made right at 500 FWHP.
Now a 150 shot, and it's a whole nother ball game!;)

What kinda of compression where u running in those ?

You should contact Ron Tarabori, he's got piles of flat top high compression pistons. He still owes me some $$ from back in the day. If you cover the shipping he will probably be glad to free up the shelf space in his garage. Tell him I sent you. ;)

Recently, a friend called Ron, to ask about buying all his v sicks stuff. Ron said he'd get a list up..Never heard from him, again.
I called, too. No return call.
Not sure what's up w/ that.

The problem is it will need to rev, steep gears and a loose converter. For how horribly it would drive, you could do a bolt on stock lc2 on e85 and beat it and drive stock.

Truthfully I think I’m going to stick with my original plan of the production 4.1 setup . I think it would be alil bit more reliable and just as much fun as the stage motor would be NA . Plus I already have a 4.1 on the stand just need to get it to the machine shop for some basic machine work then order pistons and rings for her .
