Hi , new to forum. I am having trouble after rebuilding my 200-4R. It slipping in reverse. I have all forward gears with good shifts. I can put it in man 1 and no slip and same with 2-3-4. Line pressures @ 1000 rpm p-85 r-130 n-85 n-90 d-85 3-90 2-185 1-185. Reverse is only issue

extreme automatics has a good chart for pressures
Under Tec 101/ 2004R install
Looks like your R pressure is a little low

So you think that would cause slipping in reverse? Air checking all and work good, is it possible that the case seal to reverse support is leaking? Air check and clutch pack apply.

Your reverse pressure is way low. Possible causes- leak in the direct clutch, reverse boost valve installed upside down, missing #10 check ball.

Could also have forgot the seal that drives into the case for the low/rev housing or not torqued the plate under the accumulator housing

The seal is in case and plate was torqued, check ball #10 is correct and reverse boost valve installed correct, as for direct clutch wouldn’t you have other issues and not reverse only?

No. The direct clutch has two sections. The inner section is used for 3rd gear. Both inner and outer sections are used for reverse. If you have a large leak in the outer section it will affect reverse only. Could be the outer seal or the sealing ring on the center support is leaking.
