I am getting ready to sell my GNX. To the best of my knowledge, this may be the lowest mileage GNX available, with only 8.5 miles. I purchased the car from the original owner in 2001. It has never been registered, and has never been dealer prepped. All the center caps are in the factory box in the trunk, all wrapped up. All the plastic is still on the dash, seats, floor, etc. It is in excellent original condition.
The original owner rolled it off the delivery truck into the dealer showroom, where it lived until 2001. It was shipped via enclosed transport to my showroom.

I have read the comments on other posts regarding low mileage cars. Please save them. I get it, and agree that cars should be driven. I am also the original owner of a Grand National that I DO drive. This car is a museum quality showpiece, and it has been very well cared for.

I will be getting some high quality pictures soon. I just thought this group might be interested in knowing it's out there. If anyone might be interested, let me know.

I've been following the sales trends over the last couple of years, and I know it's up and down. I'm convinced this is the nicest GNX to hit the market. I expect this one will sell for top dollar.

The Holy Grail for an electrician (480v), oh jeezuz don't get me thinking :woot:

I haven't truly determined the asking price just yet. Yes, it will absolutely be 6 figures. I am in the process of getting good photos, video, inspections, etc organized before actually posting it For Sale. My intent isn't to tease, but to let the community know that the car exists and is likely the nicest anyone could ever find. Not rushing to sell, but enjoying the process of getting it ready and spreading the word.
As with any of my cars, price will be discussed with serious buyers. I never discuss price via text, email, forum, etc. The person who will buy this car will understand its value and enter into a serious discussion.
I was considering Barrett Jackson just for the experience, but would really prefer a direct sale to an enthusiast.

I look forward to seeing the unprepped pics. I completely understand the way you are approaching the sale of your very special GNX. I personally do not inquire about anything unless a price is posted. This is just a rule that I’ve adopted. I’d hate to offer someone 150k for a car they are thinking 125k. This is a different situation though. Anyone that is serious will likely contact you immediately.
I have an aquantace that has a regular GN with an unprepped 7 miles. He was pretty upset when it arrived at the dealer with the 7 miles on it.
I’d rather see it go to an enthusiast as well. GLWTS

Very nice. Would love to see the photos. Only lower mile X I can think of is owned by Richard Clark, #110 which I believe it has 5 or so miles on it.

Would it have happened to be from a Buick dealership in Ft. Worth, TX? They had one in their showroom up until the dealership closed somewhere around 2000??

My understanding is that the car was in a Buick dealership near Lubbock/Leveland Texas area. The owner lived in Leveland. Not too far from Ft. Worth...
I bought the car from the original owner after having a local (he drove 5 hours to see it) GNX expert inspect it for me. He saw it at a Lubbock address. I didn't get to see it in person until the white-gloved guys rolled it out of the red velvet lined car enclosed car hauler.
Very likely this is the car you are referring to.

Texas is quit large, the Leveland/Lubbock area is about 350 miles away, 5.5 hr drive, not the same one, the one I am thinking of was at a Tyson family dealership in Ft. Worth.

I heard the Tyson car was acquired by the owner of Marvin Electronics. But that was twenty or more years ago.

Nice looking car op, glws.

I used to live over by that area, the owner definitely had a GNX as it was parked out front all the time, but that was around 1991-1993, the Tyson car was in the showroom still at that time, maybe he did buy it later but was not the one he had and drove back in 1991-1993.

As for price, I've thought long and hard, and am starting my asking price at $200,000. And yes, I now that is a big number. Is the car worth it? I sure think so:)
In the end, the car is worth what someone offers me that I accept. If you are a serious buyer, pm me and we will have a good discussion. Again, the car is located near Appleton, WI.
