First off, holy smokes bat man what a work of art! I stand in awe!! No joke serious skills at work here!

Secondly, I have to ask, what is that some kind or row pump (or row of pumps one spinning the other) in the second photo? Obviously for your power steering and brakes. But, where did you find such an animal? Or did you make it? That might be a future turbo Buick product right there!

Man incredible job! Really, I’m blown away!! Great job keep at it!!

That is a dry sump oiling system. Those are belt driven vacuum pumps. They suck air and oil out of the crankcase, feed it into a reservoir where the oil and air are allowed to separate, then feed it back to the engine under pressure.

There is no standard oil pan on an engine like this. It's not needed because you don't need a reservoir for a pick-up to suck from.

Very common oiling system for race engines.

Thanks for that awesome response NY Twin Turbo! As you could have lit me up big time (for being race engine clueless)! Lol! Seriously thanks man! Cause I’m always learning and I know I’ve asked some pretty dumb / obvious questions. And I probably deserved some of the flame jobs that I’ve received over the years. However, you’ll never learn if you don’t ask, right?

Sorry OP, didn’t mean to take away from the incredible work your doing here! You all are in a class all to yourselves as this is pure artisan stuff here! Killer stuff! So please keep sending the car porn!!

Ask any question you want. That should be what this forum is for. Don't worry about getting flamed because there will always be the ones who support your quest for knowledge.

As long as you don't ask questions like "Do you guys think these green 22 inch rims look good on my GN?"

We talkin' wheels, or weddin' dresses?

Probably not much of a difference as far I’m concerned! Cause beauty may only be skin deep, but, ugly? Well, that chit is to da bone!!
