Roll bar going in !

To hell with winter we want pics! :D
I will only have pictures of the finished project . I didn't want to be that guy asking " is it finished yet " every other day . I was lucky to get Peter Z . to put my bar in as he is a one man show and picks his jobs carefully . I'm going to call him tomorrow to check in . For all I know it may be done because I never did give him my number . He returned a call once so I figured he had it , I'll find out tomorrow .
It's been nice with the car out of the garage , it allowed me to put in a ceiling on the bottom of the rafters and start insulating the walls , paint , and install LED lights .To top it off , we got 8" of snow today !

What an ordeal getting it home . Had to clean off the trailer with about a foot of snow on it . Luckily the roads were pretty dry today and not much road spray . We ended up putting everything in the pole barn , just didn't want to deal with it anymore today . I'll take roll bar pics tomorrow and post up . 20171230_093858.jpg11635.jpeg11636.jpeg

I’m glad you got her home safely!! I bet you turned some heads trailering it home.

I don't know about that , I drove right in front of my wife while she was waiting at a light and she said she never saw me !

I've done that so many times. Straight at her & she still didn't see me. Tunnel vision.

That's a great looking TR you have there!

Finally I took some pics. The bar is only primed right now and I didn't have the trunk keys with me . So no pics of that area plus it's on the trailer in the pole barn and it's zero degrees .20180101_150926.jpg20180101_151039.jpg20180101_151108.jpg20180101_151209.jpg 20180101_151112.jpg

Looks good. I used the rustoleum hamertone brush on paint. Worked out very well with minimum fuss.

Thanks , I got the factory silver / grey WH1 color in a single stage urethane & hardener for the bar which I'll spray with a Preval sprayer for all the tight spots . I just have to mask off EVERYTHING . https://preval.com/diy-pro-products/preval-sprayer/ I'm told these work very well and are cheap @ $6 for the whole setup .

One pic of the trunk . The bar comes through the package shelf , caught the edge of the speaker holes and down to the top of the shock towers . Looks like if I want tunes I'll have to relocate the speakers .

I have always loved this color scheme. Everything you have done to this car has been top shelf. Keep up the good work.

Agreed. This car is a perfect example of the one mod at a time philosophy. Sam is very meticulous, patient, smart and knows these cars very well. He’s a pretty good guy too. Lol.
