I have decided to sell my Grand National. Unfortunately the car is to the point to where it needs to either have a roll cage installed and become a race car or be returned completely stock. I do not have the heart to do either.

Front Mount intercooler, aluminum radiator stock fan with 303 Stainless custom made fan shroud. Runs cool in 110 deg heat.

I dynoed the car last summer it made 588RWHP/26psi at 5200. I discovered the valve seat pressures were weak (90lbs seat) and it was floating the valves after 5200 and fell on its face. The injectors were at 70% duty cycle as well.

Car:
1987 Grand National Hard top 60k mikes. It is 100% rust and accident free. I know the owners back to 1994. The car was a Detroit area native/street racer before moving to California in 2006. The doors close better than my 2016 Challenger. It was Ziebarted from the factory and I removed the "Ziebart" decals from the quarter windows when I bought it. The interior is Super nice, never smoked in the passenger seat and rears look like they have never been used, The factory Radio (Concert Sound) was rebuilt with the Acc plug installed. The A/C has been removed, previous owner deleted the box. I removed the heater lines but the core is still in the dash and fine. I bought the car as a roller 4 years ago in San Diego it had a repaint in 2006 and never was reassembled. The paint is not a professional show quality but after I had it wet sanded and buffed it looks great. The factory bumper fillers are there and intact but the rear has a piece missing below the plate. I clipped it removing the tank with the fill cap. I built the car and have put 2000k miles on it total.

I am SURE I am forgetting a lot. I am asking 22k for this. Due to the finicky nature of these wonderful girls I would prefer to sell it to a Turbo Six guy/gal on this forum. I am not listing it anywhere else right now. I would entertain a partial trade on a Nice 7.3 4x4 stroke with the hand shaker (6 speed) or a nice 5.9 Cummins (04-07) 4x4 common rail 6 speed. Please don't be afraid to ask questions. I love this car so I need her to go to a good home. It is ridiculous to drive on the street. I live in an army town and all the Hellcats and Z28's know the rear end really well.

Thanks, I love building more than driving. I bought a challenger and my heart is torn every time I walk out to the shop. She was my 1st experience with a Turbo Buick and I forever am a changed man.

Info me, what kinda shifter is in that thing and was it hard to install. Bump for a badass ride man!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I have found and bought a super nice 7.3 so I am no longer interested in that. I understand everyone is looking for the best deal possible and I do not blame you but I wont give this car away its to nice/new. I am considering replacing the deleted heater box and making the A/C serviceable so you vultures quit using it against me. :banghead:

Gentleman and baddass ladies. There is a sale pending to a fellow gearhead in Texas. I will post if it falls through, currently the car is trapped in my shop due to ice and snow. I HATE shoveling thats why I drive lifted 4x4 diesels so it will be here till mother nature chooses to free it.

I had a lot of interest in this car. The gentlemen that purchased it off of me has relisted it, I don't know why but here is the link. https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/d/1987-grand-national-trade/6475642976.html I will still answer any questions on the car if someone contacts him and he does not know. Its a great car. There is a whole lot going on under the hood, with the alky system, the stand alone water pump fan controller, the nitrous, maf translator, 6.1 TT chip, powerlogger, and the scanmaster G, TR6 ignition...etc etc. it might have been to much for him.

Probably want to make some $$

How much did he buy it for?

I would rather not disclose that in fairness to all parties involved. I was satisfied with the deal. He said he had a few stock GN's and a GNX at on point so I believe the learning curve was a little steep. Then again if it was to make some money more power to him, it seems like a lot of hassle for little return.

I know of car dealers that sell cars to only make $500.
The key is quick turnaround.

Well you’ll be the only one to know then.

You were asking 22.
Now he’s asking 25
Me being a dealer if I bought your car for 20 and sold it for 24 that’s a really good day

That's true. Maybe he wants to be like Richard Rawlings and have little T-Shirts made and wear douchey jeans and goatee. I however wouldn't or couldn't do that. I play with cars as a hobby not as an income, I have a gig for that.
