Hi Everyone, decided to sell my Blue Regal T. Extremely rare, 1 of 280 Regal Ts imported to Canada in 1987. 57K kms which works out to 36K miles. It was sold from Downtown Pontiac Buick in St Marys Ontario. I have the paperwork to back this all up. I bought it in 2013 from the original owner since 1988. He told me it was purchased in 1987 for an elderly lady, she couldn't drive it so a few months later they traded it back in. That is when the gentleman I purchased it from bought it. He was a retired professional and only drove it in summer to his cottage up north. It has been undercoated every year and has never been winter driven. The body is 100% original paint, it still shows very well with only a few minor imperfections but no dents, rust or damage. You could easily repaint it but it would be a shame to as it still shows very well. I replaced the sagging headliner and tired carpeting so it looks like new inside. When I got it everything was still original (wires, injectors etc). I did $4k in work to "freshen it up" since everything was original. New injectors, plugs, wires, service to the rad, intercooler, transmission, rear end, valve springs, K&N filter, fuel pump kit, intercooler hoses, oil line hoses, valve cover gaskets, air converted to R134, I'm sure there's more I am forgetting to list. All parts were bought through TurboTweak, Kirban or Highway Stars. Everything it still to stock specs. The car is a G80 car with an ultra rare DR3 chrome mirror option, I have never seen this before on a Regal T. With it being 1 of 280, this has to make it even more rare. The car runs and drives as it should. It has newer Michelin radials. The previous owner did replace the accumulator ball at one point. He also put stock appearing Magnaflow stainless exhaust on it. I already have a GN and bought this as a second car but just don't have time to drive both so I am letting it go. I am about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls, New York. Importing is pretty easy, I can help the buyer navigate this. Car is appraised at close to $30K, I am asking $21,500 US dollars. For that price you are getting a lot of car with a proven history of not being beat on or abused. I'm not interested in any trades.

Hello, very nice car. Very tempting to get another one. I am partial to dark blue metallic, as I have a 1986 T Type and 1987 Turbo T Ltd. both that colour. My 1987 was also sold at Downtown Pontiac/Buick in St Marys. For a small town dealership, seems they sold alot of Turbo cars . As per GM Canada Vintage doc's my Ltd. was shipped originally to Halmark Motors in Wallaceburg . It got dealer traded and sold through Downtown, which happens frequently. My 1986 was ordered and sold through Larry Hudson Pontiac /Buick , in Mitchell a little north of St.Marys. Both cars are original paint also, and 60,000 and 70,000 km's. respectfully. My numbers sold new in Canada obtained from George Zapora at GM Vintage Services in 2002 are a little different than yours. They stated there were 2040 LC2 cars sold new in Canada in 1987 with 1695 being Grand Nationals. Of the 345 remaining, I was told 80 were Turbo T Limiteds, and 265 were Regal Turbo T's, a bit less than the 280 you stated. As a side note in 1986, was told there were 616 LC2 cars sold new in Canada, 441 being Grand Nationals, 175 being T Types. They broke it down by colour also, with Dark Blue Metallic accounting for 12 cars of the 175, or slightly less than 7% of total 1986 T Types. Good chance % of Dark Blue Metallic is around that same ratio for 1987. Good Luck with the sale. Never seen the chrome mirrors on a Canadian delivered 1987 Turbo T or Turbo T Ltd.

I'm considering taking a trip to see your car if its available. I live in Michigan.

Sorry to take too long getting back to you. It's a very nice car but I don't think it's the right one for me. My inclination would be to improve its performance and this would not keep the car as it is. Your car is a piece of history should be kept as such. Thank you for the responses & GLWS of a piece of Buick history.

Hi, it is still for sale. I’ve been off line for a few weeks, had a death in the family. Currently stored for the winter in my heated shop. Come spring I was thinking I might be adjusting the price back up to 18K. The car is tight, runs great, rides great, everything works.

Think I have your twin. At least same color anyways. Wonder how many of these dark blue ones were produced. Only 31,000 miles.
