Does anyone know what bracket was used on a BMS Stage 2 cover to mount the crank sensor?

Are you talking for a MSD pickup or what ?

I’m talking about whatever bracket was used to fit the factory crank sensor to read the factory pickup ring on the pictured cover.

I believe Fabrication will be your option,

Dimensions are in the Power source book

I don't think that's the one for the cover I have but I did find this picture in my collection that looks more like something that would work but don't know what or where it is from.

So, what are you putting on the crank snout? The sensor will have to 'mate' with the wheel; either a harmonic balancer, a toothed wheel, or a windowed wheel like the one on my Indy engine (shown in my pic). Your pic shows a harmonic balancer with a magnetic stud. Are you using that?

I will be using the stock style windowed wheel. The picture above is a hub with the similar window features. What you think is a magnet stud is just a shadow or clean spot among the rusty metal. I've seen some older stock 4 wire sensors that look similar and was wondering what application they are.

Did you find a pic or the answer to this? I am getting ready to fab a sensor PU for a S2 cover

Chris i milled out and did some welding on a Stage II cover so i could use the stock sensor and bracket. I'll try to remember to get some pictures tomorrow.

Can that new 53 tooth wheel Richard Clark makes be made to work for this?

Here is my final solution to crank sensor for a S2 front cover on a S2 on-center with prod Stage 1 heads. Innovators west LSX 12-1 flying mag trigger wheel machined to fit ATI balancer with Holley hall effect pick up and Innovators West drivers side LSX bracket HIGHLY modified. MSD cam sensor plug for a BB Chrysler modified by Glenn at Mad Racing.

Turbobuick where did you purchase that an thermostat fitting? I need one of those.
Lol, I found it in a box of stuff in my attic. I honestly don't know who made it but it is a nice one piece fitting. I also have one of the Champion adapters that is threaded with 1" NPT to screw a fitting in. If you need it send me a DM.
