If the rubber vacuum lines arent dry rotted and plastic block isnt cracked / leaking ... why replace anything.. factory lines / block work just fine

X2, or just replace the vacuum hose with new vacuum hose and reroute it to make it look cleaner.

Vacuum lines are old.and cracked in spots. Not sure if I should use plain vacuum line or get silicone lines instead...

They're easy to replace .. get quality vacuum lines and your good for another 30 years :)

Can you define "quality vacuum line"... Like gates vacuum line?

Yea .. not like a cheap lawnmower runner line .. but a quality automotive name brand vacuum.. napa usually stocks decent stuff

I replaced all my rubber vac. hoses with silicone hoses. I like to do things only once and never have to worry / think about having any problems with them ever again.

I bought the hoses off ebay they were dirt cheap and fast free shipping.

It's your car do what you think is best. :)
