Hi all- I recently ran across a gnx (don't know what the number is as I haven't looked at it personally), but the owner said it has a few issues. It's runs perfect, but has cosmetic problems. Has all the original equipment, minus the original battery. It's missing an under hood pad and bumper fillers are gone (not unusual) and I think the antennae needs to be fixed or has been fixed already. From what I understand the car needs a repaint and it has a couple of small dents. As far as mileage goes, it's supposed to have under 2,000k. Like I said, I haven't actually seen it so I can't verify it but what do you think is a reasonable price for something like that? Had a National in the past, so I'm a little familiar with the Buick. GNX is little different though. Just thought I'd get a little input. Thanks so much.

First of all welcome aboard. Now to the serious stuff, This is a hard one to quote without pictures, CarFax .I know you mention you haven't seen the car, but what if you say is true Red Flags have risen ! .If that GNX has got less that 2K miles and the Hood pad is gone Bumper fillers shouldn't be what you describe, ( DENTS ) That is a pretty rough life for a less than 2K GNX.It makes me wonder were it has been stored for 30 years. When you find out the asking price with some pictures you should be able get a much clearer answer to your questions $$ Good Luck..

2,000k would be 2 million miles. I would hope it has under that, but sure would be impressed if it had that many.

I wonder what a 200,000 mile GNX would be worth. If it was in ok condition I think it would be worth about $15,000, but that's a guess more than anything.

From what I understand it hasn't always been stored inside.... beyond me. As soon as I can get a look at it, I guess I won't really know. Will post back if I do find out. Thanks.

You'll probably want to obtain the vin # and see if it's listed on the GNX registry. After authenticity is verified a more accurate value can be estimated depending on condition.

Well, I'd says it's probably worth 100k, minus what it takes to make it close to perfect again. I wonder if pests made a nest out of the hood liner and there's some hidden gremlins in there.

i cant see it being worth 100k with the problems listed. maybe a car that was stored well with 2k original miles.
