Finally making some decent progress. Went to the track last night and posted another personal best.:)
1/4 mile at Albuquerque Dragway, elevation is high: 5300 foot with DA at about 7160.

My previous best was last year - an 11.94 at 118.5 mph with a 2.00 60 ft.
My best run was my second run yesterday.

Highly modified motor (from sig):

1987 GN: 4.1L motor on E85, forged pistons, eagle forged crank, steel caps, TA ported Aluminum heads, Ceramic coated TA headers and downpipe, 214/210 roller cam, TR6 Ignition with two step, 120lb injectors, Bison 6766 Turbo, PTE-SLI intercooler, LS1 MAF and translator, TurboTweak 6.1 chip, AEM wideband, ArizonaGN Superpumper Walbro 450 fuel pump/ Hot Wire Kit, Razor's Alky Single Nozzle, Ultra High Flow aluminum Radiator, Dual electric fans, Scanmaster 2.2, Powerlogger, Dave Husek built Pro Trans, 3521 NLU TC w/sprag, 3" custom dual exhaust , H&R Rear Swaybar and control arms, QA1 front and rear shocks, Baer Brakes.

Setup (approx 5-7 pound launch, 16.5psi of air in tires, 24-25 psi boost):
ET: 11.33
Mph: 119.55
60 ft: 1.79

Time slip and powerlogger files attached.

Notes: moved to QA1 drag shocks on the front, installed new stock springs on front and changed cargo springs in back to stock GN springs. Seemed to make a huge difference hooking.
Had a bunch of racers come up and compliment the car, wondering how the heck it was so fast. The GN really makes an impact on the crowd.

Might get more runs in if it stays cool, otherwise will wait until fall weather. Any advice/observations is appreciated.

Your missing something?? Tune?? I've been 11.17 on way fewer mods. You should be low 10's

Appreciate your input, not denying I may need some tuning. :) I am using near stock TurboTweak chip parameters, changed the AFR from 10.8 to 11.0 in the 6.1 chip.

Per the DA calculator, if I was at sea level or near, I would have been around a 10.88.

Still, probably can do better with my combo.

The western NY area averages 1000' above sea level. I never even thought about that.

No, not spraying Alky. Only use that for my 'gas' chip for roadtrips where there is no E85.

Something not right, the bigend pickup is 21.21 mph...should be 25+.

Maybe turn up the boost on the 6766. My 66 woke up at 27#.

24lbs of boost and 120mph1/4 5300ft up is not bad depending on the weight of the car.thats a lot of altitude with low boost.

Thanks, I have been purposely conservative on the boost, making sure stuff works and no knock. I remember reading somewhere that the 6766 comes into its own at higher boost levels. I think I will turn it up like you said.

Are you using the 2 step? I had bad 60' times until I installed the two step. Now I leave at 2600rpm 12lbs. Boost. 60' went from 1.9 to 1.5-1.6. Very consistent ET's also. Off the foot brake.

I have used the two step a couple of times...it has been inconsistent. I am not sure where to put the cut in rpm frankly. I have tried it at 2900 rpm and 3100 rpm. Still have done better off the footbrake.

I don't have a 2 step, 2800 and 0# and I have gone 1.65 on 255 ET Street R's

Would like to see what the real difference is at sea level...That combo should lay down an easy mid ten even at that boost level....If that combo had a good tune and the boost turned up it would be knocking on the door of a 9 second pass!!

I think you are doing pretty good for 5300 ft, keep tweaking.
