Bates Nut Farm Turbo Buick car show 6-4-17

Used to ride my motorcycle out that way in the late 80's. Palomar Mountain runs & out to Julian. Its very nice country!

Seem to recall the sign reading "Bates Brother's Nut Farm".

Always made me chuckle. I thought Norman was an only child.

We used to call it "Nate's Butt Farm".
Now that Eric and I run the show, that would be completely unacceptable.

Im hoping my car will be running to make it down . I'll be bringing my Christmas tree so we can see who can kick butt with there reaction time

HOPE?

C'mon Brent, you and Nick can figure it out.

It's SUCH a sweet car, you need to debut it!

One more box of Dynomat on the way to finish the floor pan then put in the carpet and the rest of the interior. Hopefully have the AC working before Bates!

Looks like the AC is already working

Wrapping up all the loose ends getting ready.

Raffle vendors, kid stuff, PA system, t-shirts, etc.

Mike and I are ready...looking forward to getting everyone together once again.

Was contemplating cooking up an 80s playlist, with an occasional Glenn Miller track for Lou. :)

I'm just getting back from the big East Coast TB event at Richard Clark's. I was able to shake the vendors down like never before. This should be a good raffle. :)

Almost three weeks left. Time for the farm animals to start getting nervous. :chicken:

Gonna try to make it this year also (missed last year, but made it in '15) I'll see if i can round up some others from here in the North

Anyone coming from the Bay Area ?

Rumor has it that there may be a Turbo Lou sponsored "Long Haul award" given. ;)

We are now confirmed that Classic Industries will be setting up a good sized booth at the show and should have plenty of catalogs on hand.

Just over two weeks now. Still time for Mean Chicken to go see Lou and get the Chicken Coup up and running... :shifty::chicken:

2 more weeks! Car is together and running. Getting the AC charged on Tuesday. Can't wait!
