If enough interest arises in the 109 class I would like to have a 109 shootout in NC! It will be a true 109 shoot out. If you want the really big players to come out it needs to be as rule free as possible. I vote 109 and a Buick. I would even go to straight 109 if it brings out the TRUE baddest 109 in the land... Yes I have a motor and I will put it in the red car and participate, HOWEVER I see how it may look like I am making it easy for me, I WILL ONLY DO exhibition runs to be fair if we can get a complete field and they rather me not race. I like this new idea and would love to see what the block can do...

This would be awesome.109 and Buick and any power adder on any tire.

Because being forced to run on a small 275 slows the cars down.not to mention how much extra rd time and traction control adjustments to make a small tire car run.i have a bad ass 109 car here right now and It runs on 315/65/15 mt pros I will say the owner would love to run for 16k with a 1k buy in right up till I tell him he has to pull the tires off a run a 275.

Love when people think a 275/60 Mickey pro is a limiter lol
On certain cars and chassis it is.takes alot more of everything to get a radial car to hook on the track or street than a big tire car and there are many guys that just don't want to deal with it.

So your saying a 28" 10.5 slick will give someone the advantage. Maybe on a car that makes no power but when your at the power level that it's going to take to be competitive in a show like this you better be able to manage the power and yes a 275 pro will be faster .
Keep rules wide open. Why have a tire rule or weight rule people like watching fast cars[/QUOTE]

No I'm saying cars that run on say a 30x13.5 will be able to apply more power than on a 275 anything and don't have to manage the power anywhere near as much.there are several that prefer the ease of bigger tires and don't want to run the smaller stuff especially for that kind of paper.inmo let the fastest race on whatever they want. there has been a lot of rules that inmo have slowed things down I think it would be cool for an all out 109 race to happen with no limitations but balls and coin.

I like the tire rule, however, if more are willing to participate without it....How about creating a big tire....small tire class?

I dunno but Shane has enough stuff, I could screw something together for about any class.
