86 Buick Regal T Type hardtop. 3.8 liter v6 fuel injected, turbocharged, and intercooled. 200r4 4 speed automatic transmission. Power windows, concert sound, rear defog, power antennae(unplugged), air conditioning, cruise control, limited slip. 165k miles.
Runs and drives very well. I bought the car to restore it but have since bought another that I like better. When I bought it, the car needed a turbo. I put a new Precision 5931 E turbo on it and a Arizona GN 3" downpipe and test pipe on it. I also put a remanufactured mass air meter on it because I robbed the one off this car for another. The car already had a hotwired Walbro 340 (according to previous owner), Accufab adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 009 blue stripe 42.5# injectors, 93 octane 20 degree street chip, K&N cone filter and solid maf pipe (needs cleaning or replacing). It has an older Hooker catback system that looks bad but sounds good and doesn't leak. It also has an old KB ram air system that goes with the car. Also included with the car is the scanmaster that came with it, pillar mount dual gauge pod, oil pressure gauge, and boost gauge. All were poorly installed so I removed them with the intention of reinstalling them properly, but never got around to it. Also have a new in the box set of stock height front and rear springs that will go with the car and probably some more parts that are in the trunk that I am forgetting about.
The body of the car has some rust. Not a rust bucket, but not a clean dry climate cream puff either. Has new fiberglass bumper fillers and also has a fiberglass hood. The doors have rust in the bottoms and should be replaced (have a clean set that goes with the car), The quarters have some rust behind the rear wheels. The floors and trunk are in good shape with the exception of the spare tire well. It is rusted through and should be replaced. The interior is in decent shape. The drivers side seat back has a tear in it but the upholstery is otherwise good. The speaker bezel has a crack in it and the dash does also. The carpet presentable but could use shampooing. One of the floor mats is missing.
Overall, this car would make a good daily driver or restoration project. It starts easily and runs well. It goes down the road straight as an arrow and has no crazy noises or vibrations. It had a recent spring cleaning with new plugs, wires, o2 sensor, etc. It also has new brakes and tires (not pictured). It is a lot of fun to drive, the stock size tires are easily overwhelmed. I continue to work on the car and improve it a little at a time but have decided to offer it in as is condition to see if there is any interest in it. I am planning on replacing the doors and taking it to the body shop for paint in the next couple weeks if it doesn't sell. Obviously the more time and money I spend on the car, the more the price goes up. I have done my best to describe the car accurately but have probably left out some details. It does have a salvage rebuilt title. It was like that when I got it and was like that when the previous owner got it also. Never concerned me because I bought it to be a driver, not a show car. To demonstrate my confidence in this car, I'm willing to drive it to you to the nearest major airport within 1000 miles or so for free. It is being sold in as is condition with no warranty expressed or implied. For more pics or questions, call or text (preferred as I am not always able to answer the phone) Sharif at 919-697-7262. Not interested in trades at this time.
