I'm planning to head down from NH to the Kirban's open house on April 30. Not sure if I want to leave at 0dark30 or maybe head out the night before, motel crash and be able to sleep in a bit!

Is anyone else from the NE states planning that trip?

Looking ahead, I'm also going to drive down to NC to Richard Clark's for the 4-7 May event... same question: anyone else plan on going?

I'm really only planning on 4-6th so I'll bug out on Friday.
I know the Cotton's gang is making the trip, but probably not until Friday for race events.

Any roadtrippers?

The date is closing in fast, I went down last year (kirbans) with my daily,. I'm not sure I'd want to go again without the Gn...Mike

I hear ya! I've got some parts to sell and had considered bringing my daily to just haul them, pick up my parts on order and head out. But the fun is in the road trip down and cruising.

Yep, my GN's hitting the road!

I grew up in RI... it ain't no thang to swing down and we can drive together. Bring it! lol

I'm in as long as long as I can get her settled in this weekend..

If not in a jam to complete my rides winter service for the TB Nationals, I'll try to take it to Kirban's. I will revisit this thread as we get closer to the date. If, and when I know whats going on, I'll reach out to you guys.

Awesome if you're ready. I'll just be a bit behind you then once we hit the road. Not as fast as you! I was parked next to you at Mark's last show in CT. Lol

As a whole, you would be able to travel much faster than I.

-My ride handles like a wheelbarrow filled with water on the street! I do lane changes and exit ramps slower than a walk.
-Also, TH 400 (no overdrive).
-Not to mention the fact that I only have a 12 gallon fuel cell. Fuel economy isn't that bad (for what it is) but when it gets down to 3 gallons I must keep it full to prevent sucking air. Fuel gauge goes down as fast as boost spools up!

Basically, most people hate having me as part of the convoy. I slow down the whole group.

But, when I'm driving it, I'm in heaven. And I don't care how long it takes to get there.
