Cooling hoses for TTA

The upper radiator hose is still available Gates 22957 is still available for now. But the lower radiator hose Gates 22958 has been discontinued and very hard to find. Carmotorsports had both of these in a kit but they are out.

None that I am aware of. Like I said the lower hose has been discontinued by Gates who made them for GM

If there is a lot of call for it. We can look into having the stock style hoses copied in silicone. We did a set from stock GN hoses last year.

I just went through this about 3 weeks ago. I could not find the lower hose in any brand but if you buy a lower hose for a GN and trim it, it will work and fits pretty good. I did find a Gates upper hose but was told it was the last one in the country(the guy from Jegs talked to a rep from Gates). I also couldn't find any other brands other than Gates that had the upper hose for the TTA. Maybe check some different parts stores for old stock?

GN lower hose actually fits better than the stock one, but as already stated it needs a few inches cut off. I got lucky and bought the last 3 upper hoses from Rock Auto a couple months ago. I heard a GN upper can be cut down too, but I have not tied that one.

Glad I found this as I was just about to look into replacing all the hoses on my car. The only thing I can contribute here so far is that I found a good substitute for the "S" (Z?) shaped heater hose in the rear at Advance Auto. Dayco 86121, just need to trim some off each end but matches up well.

I did buy 2 upper hoses from rock auto with in the last 2 weeks, it's good news the GN ones can be cut down!

Here is a pic of a TTA upper hose vs a GN upper. The TTA hose is the one with the tag. As you can see, they are almost identical. The GN one is just a bit longer.

Now the lowers are noticeably different. The blue one is a GN lower, the black is an original TTA.

I just cut the water pump end. Slide the hose on the radiator first, then just line it up next to the water pump. Trim as needed to clear idler arm.

This might help someone; put this together years ago and updated it last time back in 2016 ....
