Nice where did you get the headers? Nice build what's done to motor ? Turbo size ,etc ? Plan on doing the same thing. Did you need a different oil pan ?

How does that saying go.. Haters gonna hate? Thanks for posting. I'd like to see more pics of the hotside, especially the crossover and the headers. Did you intercool it? It was hard to see from the video.

Nice monte carlo...or well I wish it was... my v6 could match those numbers

I have had over 20 GN's and T types in the past. Never a monte carlo!! This car is a 84 I bought, someone coverted from hot air to intercooled, so I did not mind doing the LS swap. I would have a hard time converting a original car, but I know what its like to build a $15,000 Buick V6 I have paid $2000 for a sets of TA cyl heads for a V6. I did not spend that for this LS engine, turbo, ect.... So for everyone doing a LS swap, or wants to do one, just do it. Everyday you get closer to your grave "Steve Safi" So be nice!!

Build: 2000 5.3 bare with 05 internals, LS1 cam from a 04 GTO, 234 heads from a 2011 LS4 fwd, LS1 intake
with truck TB, Kyle Brown (right) hot side, waste gate and cross over I made, truck manifold left side with v band, qwick brackets, stand alone harness done By S&S(ebay)$225 very nice job every wire is labeled, Hummer oil pan,(ebay$200) 2000 truck computer converted to Speed density and tune by (Matt aka sloppy mechanics)

Sorry for the stinky I put in your thread. It bothers me when people start bashing LS motors in this section. I know first hand how much time goes into a build and then catch a hard time for it. Nice build!!! Keep updates coming. You gave me ideas for a new project we may be starting

No problem Team banana

After all we are all in this thing together.

And thank you to all for the positve feedback.

Setting up my Meth kit, to see if I can go 18psi on pump, I would like to see 600-625whp

You mentioned having a Kyle Brown (KB racing) log. Would that happen to be his standard truck log unmodified? That would be a very cool option for us swappers if his log fits unmodified.

I actually had him build me a custom log to try and tuck the turbo down lower and a bit more forward. Here are some pics of the log I have and the setup Im working on. Very similar to yours.

It was his truck log, the only mod was the t4 flange was a few inches lower in order for turbo to clear stock hood. I drilled a 2 inch hole under flange for wastegate. these are the only pics i have.
