Recommended alignment

Here is what I run on the street, and my car seems to handle okay:

camber = -1/2 degree
caster 5 to 5.5 degrees
toe in 1/16 total

it has a Howe lower balljoint ,tall kit, is that a Bump steer kit?
ron
That will help the camber curve Ron. The bump steer correction kit replaces the outer tie rod on both sides and a stud where the outer tie rod stud goes. If you want to go to speedway motors and look up part number 910-32800 and 916-36055 and you can see what it looks like.

THANKS Guys,, i may keep everything the same ,except a little toe IN, like 0 to 1/16" in.

i just bought this car and it drives like no other G body ive been in.

i think the PO might have had DRIFTING in mind, gonna need an LSD tho! as it stands its a ONE WHEEL DRIVE system! haha.

THX again and i'll be around asking questions. it looks like a simple GN.

I'm curious as to why they didnt do a "0-1/16 Toe OUT" with that aggressive of a setting. Any idea why they went in instead of out? I'm thinking of doing another heavier setting on my car going from these settings:
Camber: -.60
Caster: 3.5*
Toe In: 3/32"

Changing to:

Camber: -1.5
Caster: 4.75*
Toe: 0

I'm a little hesitant on the toe being at "0" but I've chatted with quite a few local heavy hitters with medium size/weight cars like our G Bodies and most are really happy with this spec. Granted, everyones car is going to act differently depending on each cars' individual components. But, most people have decent camber curve adjusted set ups. The only problem I'm seeing is a possiblity of tracking a little, following grooves in the road.
I just got back in since Sunday and just now seen this post so sorry for not answering you sooner...... To tell you the truth they never said and I never asked so I couldn't tell you anything as to "Why" they done it like that but what I Can tell you is how it rides and feels on the road & Autocross!

The ride on the street is very nice without dodging all over the place or "tracking"and the ride & handling on the Auto-x is fantastic.... The ride is nice and smooth and I think the people who have driven or driven in my car can vouch for the ride as well. I guess I could call Kyle and ask why they prefer it like they did vs at "0" and see what he say's and let you know...

85 GN ls powered,, still does not feel safe on a hard acceleration run ,,like from 60 to 110mph, i let off.

it seeems to want to dodge back and forth, or "track", if i try to just give it a little steering input it seems to over correct.

or turn in is much to sensitive!

its not to uncomfortable at like a cruise up to hi-speed, but seems to get wild coming up to speed at full throttle.

toe is out at this time 1/16",

runing around a parking lot at low speeds, it is fantastic, but i do street drive it quite a bit!

any input would be helpful.

THX Ron
