Where: No Limit Raceway (fka: US41), Morocco, IN
When: Sat, May 21st, 2011
--1:30pm RACER GATES OPEN
--2:30pm SPECTATOR GATES OPEN
--3:00pm 1ST ROUND DRAW/START
--If time permits, grudge racing will follow the finals
--10:00pm RACING ENDS
Admission: $20/spectator; $550/racer PRE-REGISTERED WITH HEYYOSTEVE ONLY!
--$250 DUE @ REGISTRATION--NON REFUNDABLE; BALANCE DUE @ GATE
--Crew Members will pay individually @ gate, and then see their driver for their "Line Access" wristband, of which FIVE will be given to each driver
--Spectators will not be granted "Line Access"
--ANYONE WITHOUT A WRISTBAND WILL BE ESCORTED TO THE FRONT GATE--this includes DRIVERS!! (keep them on!)
--WINNER & R/U ARE PAID OUT
--32 car field

--Parking is free!
--Lockup money is due by May 1st!!
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
--Participant's entry list will NOT be revealed until the day of the event. All attendees will receive a list of racers entered at the gate (racers & spectators).
--In honor of our fallen comrade, Woody (the HeyyoGrillmaster), the HeyYoMutha****in Grill will no longer be featured at KOTS. To salute Woody, KOTS will now be home to "Woody's Diner", which will offer a small compliment of food/beverages for the participants only.
--NLR will have their concessions stand open and available for everyone else.
--Racers will have the option to choose their 1st round opponents. You can call out any registered racer, and if they accept then that's it! In short, two racers must agree to race each other (KOTS rules, heads up only), and may not be from the same team/crew. KOTS staff must approve the matches to ensure no "fixed" races. If racers do not wish to choose an opponent (or accept a challenge), they will defer to the standard draw matching after all matches have been arranged.
--After any matches are declared, racers will be drawn at random from a hat/box/bag/bra/etc
--Bye runs will be the last name drawn, and will automatically advance to race against the first name drawn in the following round.
--All races will use a instant green (NO pro tree), with the track win lights determining the victor. Racers will line up normally in the beams, and the starter will manually "check" (stage) each car as we have in the past before "lighting" the race. (think of it as the best of both worlds--green light, and good old-fashioned, streetrace procedures)
--Any premature starts/jumping FOR ANY REASON will result in a DQ.
--ANY UNAUTHORIZED PEOPLE NEAR THE FINISH LINE WILL BE EJECTED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND
--Crossing the center line in front of your opponent (before the win light indicates a winner) will result in a DQ.
--Should the need for a ruling arise from the KOTS staff, Trent (VoR) will hold ultimate authority in making said ruling, and all rulings are final--PERIOD.
--No track prep or burnouts beyond starting line (cars may not pass starting line during/after burnout for any reason--immediate DQ possible) Any attempts to prep the track may result in a DQ of the racer whose crew makes the attempt.
TO FURTHER CLARIFY: Burnouts must start in the designated area (just beyond the water box), and may be driven out so long as the car does not cross the starting line in any way. "Puddling" of traction compound may be done in the designated area only. Spraying of traction compound may be done from the water box to the line.
--A racer may be DQ'd for any reason not listed here at the discretion of KOTS staff. (aka: NO bull****, please)
--DQ will result in forfeit of entry fees for racer and crew.
--There will 15 minutes between rounds, save for any unexpected delays. (wrecks/oildowns)
ABOUT THE CARS:
--There are no restrictions of any kind beyond the tire & suspension requirements outlined below...
TIRE:
--28 x 10.5 (non-W) max tire size (any brand) ("shaved" W tires will result in a DQ)
--275/60R15 Drag Radial OK also (any brand)
--Maximum two tires per axle, one per side (for you sneaky bitches)
SUSPENSION:
--Stock-style drive-axle suspension (no ladder bar/4-link entries)
--Coilovers OK
--CalTracs/traction bars, monoleafs or relocated leaf springs OK
--Any front suspension OK
--NO WHEELIE BARS
VIDEOS/PICTURES:
--We will have 1320 Video taking professional footage again for a DVD of this event. HOWEVER we are encouraging racers & spectators to take their own footage and submit it to HeyYoSteve for possible inclusion into the DVD! Any footage/shots (even just a second or so) used in the DVD will result in a free copy of the DVD awarded to the person providing the footage, as well as a credit on the DVD for providing the footage. Those who know Kyle know that his videos are TOP NOTCH!
AND, as always, thanks for the support in helping us make this the baddest event in the midwest for the last four years!! Without the racers, there is no KOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
