Ck performance 4l80 parts and service are a joke !!!!!v

I just spoke with chris on the phone, and after talking I have to believe that somehow someway he didnt get the 6 or 7 messages I left on their company machine. I KNOW if a message gets left on my machine at home I will NEVER no about it.

whatever the case, chris has CLEARLY stated that if I send him the valve body he will refund my money. I feel this is Fair.

I feeel as a business owner I should CLEARLY say, I SHOULD HAVE posted something like, chris at ck perfomance, please call me, haveing a problem getting in touch with you. and ONLY THEN if I still got no responce, should I have made this post.

I REALLY wish Id have gotten this resolved before any of this happened .

Guys,

I am getting reports on this thread.
This may get locked if it gets any uglier.
Im not quite sure I understand what that means?

Locking a thread would have likely resulted in nothing getting resolved. Which is why locking any thread is always a bad idea and why it's is almost never done on any other forum.

Its a public forum for a reason. People are free to speak their mind and often do.

Future customers are always watching on how vendors handle all situations, including ones like this. Something to think about.

 This is also why it's so important to post feedback on the experience you have with the vendors. (Good or Bad) I made the mistake not reporting a bad experience I had with a vendor and I see this guy doing others the same way I was done. Someone mentioned I should have said who it was so others wouldn't get done like me. I wish I would have now.

I'm up here in Canada...and I've purchased parts from Chris 2 or 3 times...and his parts/service/shipping have been top notch.

There is 2 reasons why most never post about bad deals with vendors. First reason is all the follower that post defending said vendor which is there right to do so. Second and most important is that Misery loves Company. Let them learn for themselfs. I myself have rode the tranny train and I leave it at that. Luckily I live close to Richard Clarke and now do my own along with Richards help.

skeen, I've been down this same road. I won't make the same mistake twice either.

i wonder if RC would be up for a tech session at his place in May to show the masses how to build a tranny? I have personally never had one apart and would love the chance to learn from him.

Something I learned a long time ago. Being a business owner, you can't please everyone.

I am in business owner also and I agree with your statement. But problem is when you recieve the short end of the stick does your statement still apply?
