Met Jamie at BG

Thanks for that, I let my nerves get the best of me for whatever reason, Knew I had a great tune on it and didn't put enough pressure on the brake thus pushed through the beams. Next year... Great to have met you.

Ah yes, we've all been there one time or another.

See ya next time.

Man that's moving!!!! So much for having to convert to go fast. Jamie I got the turbo adapter thanks. I will be taking 2 Hot airs to the Nov. 5&6 event Buick vs the World at Reynolds. Don't think I will be going that fast but both cars will be in the 11's for sure. Again congradulations for officially being the FASTEST STOCK APPEARING HOT AIR EVER!!!!!!!

Pete

I'd love to do Reynolds, if there is anyway I'm going to see, but it's so close to the time off I just had...

It is OFFICIAL, Ms. Jamie is the FASTEST HOT AIR 3.8 ever. Leeo started it all. Jamie and Carl have taken it further. Congrads on all the work. Now lets see that 9.99 time slip...

I'll work on it, this car will not see an intercooler, they want me to write up an article in hopes that a vendor or two might take notice and support our cars again.. I'll do what I can. I have a new designed header that Karl designed and our fabricator did, this really woke the car up, less boost then ever running faster then ever and it spools that monster turbo instantly. I will post some photos later this week.

It was really great meeting everyone and all the great compliments, only bad thing is the dude from NC who thought he could park his open trailer less then 3 feet from our trailer and we barely had access to our door to get in. I also actually got to drive my car in Bowling Green this year, due to the extremely dry conditions the only way to clean it for the show was to take it to the hotel. It did win first place in the race car class as well. Who needs an intercooler?

Soooo what size is that monster turbo?

The real issue will be getting it to flow and since I run Karl's designed 70 mm throttle body and exhaust that issue is no longer an issue for my set up.

Another amazing factoid about these passes. Although E85 not available at every gas station, her passes can be considered as being on pump gas:eek:

And then the time slip guy ran away.... Not sure what his problem was, he wasn't getting a hug.. LOL

congrats, glad to see you where able to get a bigger turbo on that car.

if you would like to share some info with us i have a few questions.

There's no secret

I mentioned the size of the turbo and throttle body we had custom made

I mentioned the exhaust Karl designed we had made.

This is no different then Lee or anyone else who designed something and had it made for their car. We just got the right combination of everything and with the exhaust the turbo spools very quickly and thus makes more horse power. I'm not running near as much boost as I had and it's going down the track.

The issue is just cause something works on my set up doesn't necessarily mean it will work on someone elses. There is a lot of trial and error and it will take someone willing to do that to get their combination set up.

a girl that races/works on her own gn, that is a hot air, and is in the 10's. that is so freakin awesome!!!!!!!!
way to to go jamie!!!!! i hope to get to meet you and get a picture with you someday also!!!
way to go!!!!

It would be great to meet you as well. I did get to meet a lot of great people including Lawrence Conley who mentioned he was impressed with my hot air. That was so cool....

i agree 100%,

how much boost on that pass?

28 pounds with zero detonation on E 85... Which may sound like a lot to those of you with smaller turbos but with a larger turbo such as this you need to turn the wick up in order for it to generate horse power. With the E 85 I have no detonation and still make horse power after 24 pounds of boost. I know what it is doing, since I've torn down the motor and we are really happy we switched over.

If you really want something bad enough you can find someone to make it happen, do your research ask a lot of questions. In my case it helps I have a lot of very talented friends who do amazing work and husband who is always designing the next upgrade.

So what was all that rubbing on Pat's head all about!

Heck, if I can get 3 to 4 tenths off my track times I'll tie his a$$ up and throw him in my trunk. I'll air-freight him in a crate so you can have him for special events:D I'll also have to send special feeding and care instructions. He's a picky eater and gets really pissy if he sleeps in the same room as someone else.

Okay Patrick was my good luck charm, I guess if you have to ship him. I'll email you the buick events we plan to attend in 2011 so I know he will be there...
