The first two are with my new rear spring setup and the others are with some old stock A-body springs.

I just fell in love with that car.. Now I want mine just like it lol.

yes he did:cool:

He turned my limping stock GN into a sleeper.. it's so much fun to drive now.

BTW I think your car is just plain gorgeous, really... it's near perfect.

If you dont mind, what are the specs for your wheels/tires/brakes/suspension?

If you have it all listed somwhere, I'd love the link as opposed to retyping.
Or, you can email a doc to glockandroll (at) austin.rr.com

Why would you recommend a touch more backspacing on the rears? Are you having some problems with rubbing?? I actually love how nice and tight you have the rears in there!

I also live in Katy and my plan was to build mine excactly like yours except mine is a clone and will have a turbo 6.0 pretty soon after I get the body like I want it, I hope. If it isnt to much to ask i would love to see it in person.
Thanks Robert

Im running a 1/4" billet spacer back there right now making it 6" BS and yes when i pull into a parking lot at a steep angle and the rear twist a bit i get a slight squeal from inside rub.

What would be the max I could go with those rims in the back without rubbing? What did you do to the front to lower it? I want to turn an all stock car into how yours looks without the huge rears lol.

OK, now I'm confused
You run 5.75" b.s. with a 1/4" spacer (=5.5" b.s.) but you recommend 6"+ due to rubbing on the inside ?? I think you would want 5.25-5.5 b.s.

Sitting in line, waiting for the gates to open at BG

yeah my bad, im sorry if i confused anybody, i had a brain fart, a lot on my mind lately. The wheels are 6.25" BS and i run a 1/4" spacer making them 6" So 6"-5.75 would be ideal if the notch is similar to mine. John thanks for pointing that out so it doesn't screw anybody over.

Nice car!

Do you have rear spring isolators installed with the rear a-body 2" drop springs?

Do you ever take your ride up to the car meet at Home Depot off of Fry on Saturday nights?
