Quest For More Boost!!

Sounds like a winner to me. Weber does some nice work. I'd love to see it run. Just give me a head start please.

Can't beleive I missed this thread for so long. I looked into that stroker kit a while ago too. Really looking forward to seeing your results. I guess long gone is the idea of a 11 second car. :D Good luck on the build, sounds like you're pretty close.

Thanks, It is pretty close. I did go a little over board on the 11 sec build. I'm stiil going to hit you up on the new radiator. Did you sell your old one?

When it gets here I'm hoping I can get a few of the local TR owners to give me a hand on droping it in and firing it up. Of course food and beer on me.;)

helper

I don't have much experience in dropping motors in but I don't mind helping in anyway I can.Plus I would like to use this also as a learning experience and who knows, if we have to do a beer run we can take my old brick to the store:p:p:p

I will surely take you up on that!! It's so funny your "old brick" would be the fastest thing I've ever been in. Before my motor went bad I've only been 13 sec's. On the street I though that was fast.

Damm I wish i would've know that too, he also installed a 2step for me.Next plan is a heads & cam swap plus this new precision hairdryer sitting in the box.For now I wanna push the envelope with this combo, tune it a little better and then launch this sucker with a pair of slicks and more boost.I'am sure I have a little more left with the slicks and a better 60' trying to make it to the track first weekend in sept.

2step

o yeeaa can't wait to try this new 2step from bob was messing around in front of mizzi's testing it out in the parking lot and it works great so far,,, juss gotta try it out at the track with some real boost:cool:
