Bowling Green plenum vs. stock plenum question

I'm looking to order a .5" spacer for my BGC plenum. The spacers are for "stock-style" plenums. My question is, does the BGC plenum have the same bolt pattern as a stocker? I assumed they were the same, don't know why they would be different, but wanted to check. I have both the BGC plenum and intake, I have no stocker to compare.

Glad I asked, thanks for the info! I see RJC has a nice spacer/power plate combo, but I don't think it will clear my stock hood since it is 1" thick.

If you can make a cardboard template or paper etc I have someone that can make you a spacer any thickness size length you like. Just PM me. Keep in mind this is side work for him so it takes a while to get done. he cant use the machines during work hours. Dont expect 2 day service. If thats OK send a PM for his number.
He has the machines to make almost anything from Throttle Body mods to an IAC angle boss etc. he does A+ work but Quality takes time. His prices are fair. Its just a hobby for him.
I am NOT trying to undermine RJC or Steve mentioning this. Its for one off Custom Stuff only as he isnt looking to srew over a good vendor like Steve or Jason! I'll bet even Jason can do One off custom but he may be busy so this is an alternative.

I might be interested in one also for a BGC intake/plenum if the price is right.

Save your money and call Dan at DLS and order a spacer from him. Mine is 1.5" thick and clears the hood. He can modify your upper plenum so your throttle body angle is changed and it will clear. You want to get as much plenum volume as you can.

The RJC power plate for the BGC intake DOES NOT WORK AS WELL AS A PLENUM SPACER!!!. I tried one years back and hollowed it out and it worked better. I determined this with track results, plug readings, EGT probes in all cylinders. Unfortunately, I did not do the leaf blower test.. ;)

Well this thread has become more popular than I expected. I guess there are still a few people running these old BGC setups.

I went ahead and emailed Jason to see what he would say. If that doesn't work, it looks like there might be a couple other options.

My main reason for wanting a spacer is so my inlet pipe will clear my 4" MAF pipe. The pipes interfere by just a quarter inch or so. I wasn't so much concerned about performance (although a gain in HP would be nice!), but rather just to get things to fit right.

whats the difference

what is the difference between the bowling green intake and the stock intake?
and why does it need a .50'' - 1.50'' spacer? i would assume more ponies..is it for getting in the 9 second range? please bare with me im new to this.
