First ever alum GN rims. pics.

Im curious to see where the black paint will be applied. Obviously in the slots around the wheel, but how about the centercap and area surrounding the lugnuts? Will that be painted as well to match closer to a stock GN wheel or will that be left unfinished?

Also, Im curious to see how the wheels look on the car with the widths/backspacing that was used.

That being said, HURRY UP AND POST MORE PICS !!!

Wheels

I know these are one off gn wheels but because they turned out so nice I would say they are actually excellent for a custom wheel application. The design and engineering is awesome. They would actually look great in many different applications. If they were done in a 17 or 18 I would like to see Rick Elam do a pro touring setup with them.

Yea,
It is kinda a shame to paint them. I hate to cover up nice work, but they are getting painted to look as close to a GN rim as we can. Black paint will even be a semigloss just like the stockers.:)

The joke going around my house the last day or two was, that I was going to sleep with that rim next to me in bed, and make my wife sleep on the floor.:D

Good thing that she was wearing somthing sexy, or I'd be in the dog house.:)

Well, no doubt individuals will have a preference both ways. If you get busy with these, and I sincerely hope you will, offering them both painted and unpainted might be to your advantage. Anyway, best of luck with your endeavor.

Nice. Too bad not many in here will have deep enough pockets. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Nailed that one on the head! Alot of people will say they love them and want a set then a realistic price for a one off custom wheel will be posted then this will be a bashing post! I love them and think they are really nice and will do good.:)

You guys keep forgetting one offs cost ! As that is what they are 1 of 1 !

When you make something into production the cost is less simple.

With the software today for the CNC machines it has become much easier to produce parts like this.

As I said before VERY NICE job !

Ok enough of that.

Sorry.

Was busy all day today tuning on Mean Chicken's GN . Tomorrow were at the drags, grudge racing against Turbo Lou. Will try and answer questions and post another pic or two when I get home.

Wish us luck.:)

Beautiful, 17in would be fantastic. Its like I've always said, everything cool for hot rods starts at Hunington Beach and then works its way across the country. I've been holding off buying new tires hoping to find nice 17in wheels that look factory.
